WEDNESDAY'S MAKE & TAKE

This week you will have two cards to choose from at the Wednesday Make N Take!  The stamps used are from Penny Black and Art Impressions.

The birdhouse card is a slightly different size.  An envelope maker and paper will be provided for you to make a custom envelope.  Instructions will be provided for those of you that have not made an envelope before.

The window card has acetate behind the window panes and the frame is raised to make it more dimensional.

In order to help keep the cost at only $1.00 per card, we are asking for your help. 

If you would please bring your basic stamp kit (scissors, adhesive, foam tape) and colored pencils or markers of your choice it will help.Wednesday from 1-5pm

Craft Room's new name & Open House, Card Class with Shirley, MISTI Orders

Congratulations to ERNA TAYLOR-STARK who submitted the winning name for our new classroom. It was a hard decision, we received many great suggestions. 

Thank you to all our customers that came  to see our new CREATIVE STUDIO Saturday and join in the festivities on our first Customer Appreciation Day!  To say it was a huge turnout would be an understatement!!

The design team is aware that many of you were disappointed we ran out of make n takes Saturday.  So to make it up to you, we want you to mark your calendars now, for Saturday, December 3, our annual Holiday Party. This year the make n takes will be free!  We will be taking reservations closer to the date of the event. This will give us a better idea of how many customers will be attending. Please be sure to make a reservation so you won't be left out!

We will be making three cards using Short Stacks from Power Poppy, Birthday Boxes from Whipper Snapper and the Flower Cascade stamp from Penny Black.  I have used the Flower Cascade stamp to make a Sympathy card however, alternate sayings will be available.

Two of these cards are “watercolor” style using watercolor markers, and one is done with Copic markers. The stamp sets are Penny Black ( lilac and orange flowers) and Art Impressions (flowerpot).

If you have them please bring the following supplies to class:

Copic markers -Y15, Y17, YR16, YG21, YG95, YG99 (or colored pencils, if you prefer)

Marvy markers-Brilliant Yellow, Lt. Green, Magenta, Leaf Green, Sepia, Salvia Blue, Jungle Green, Prussian Blue, Wisteria and Red.

Large acrylic block, small round paintbrush, small water mister bottle, and your basic supplies.

2ND, Summers End Card Class with Lynette Friday, September 5 3PM - 5PM In celebration of summers end Lynette has designed three cards highlighting the beautiful new line of printed papers from Webster's Pages. In this fun class you will be doing a little sampling of everything, water coloring, embossing, and (of coarse) paper piecing. Class participants will need to bring their favorite runner tape adhesive, liquid adhesive, small dimensional foam adhesives, and scissors. Additional supplies needed are Soft Pool ink by Hero Arts, Weathered Wood distress ink, Clear Wink of Stella, and a wide tip water brush.
