Art Journaling Class

Anne has added a second Art Journal Class!!!

Friday, Sept 26 from 6PM - 9PM
& Saturday Sept 27  2PM - 5PM

While making a mini 8 page art journal, you will learn various techniques using paints, stencils, gesso, gel pens, gold leaf, rubber stamps, collage, sprays, die cuts, and wax paper resist. Techniques can be used in scrapbooking and card making as well. This one will get messy!  Class will be taught in 2 parts.



Please bring your own scissors and adhesives.

Distress Marker Stamping with Robin Saturday, September 27th  10:30 AM CLASS IS FULL! If you are interested in this class please call Linda and we will schedule another date! In this class you will be "painting" on your stamps with Distress Ink markers; this technique produces a pleasing watercolor effect. You will be making 3 cards using this fun and creative technique.  On two of the cards Robin will show you how to use multiple stamps to create a layered look. Must bring to class: Distress Markers: Please bring 3 complimentary light/medium, medium and dark of the color GREEN.  You will need to bring your favorite colors for the flower blossoms also in light/medium, medium and dark. The more colors you bring to class the more options you will have! See the samples above for suggested color families. Robin has indicated the medium to dark produce the more vibrant colors. 2ND, Summers End Card Class with Lynette Friday, September 5 3PM - 5PM In celebration of summers end Lynette has designed three cards highlighting the beautiful new line of printed papers from Webster's Pages. In this fun class you will be doing a little sampling of everything, water coloring, embossing, and (of coarse) paper piecing. Class participants will need to bring their favorite runner tape adhesive, liquid adhesive, small dimensional foam adhesives, and scissors. Additional supplies needed are Soft Pool ink by Hero Arts, Weathered Wood distress ink, Clear Wink of Stella, and a wide tip water brush. Here's Linda's Wednesday card!  Sounds like these gals that come to Wednesdays with Linda are having lots of fun making cards and are cultivating friendships.  Come join them for a fun and creative time.  See what you can do.  Linda would love to have you.

Have you bought your Shop Hop passport, yet?  The theme this year is BOOKS!  Stamp Fever chose
The Farmer's Almanac as its theme.  You will have to come and see how the store will be decorated with that theme.  There will be other fun things that will be happening during Shop Hop from July 18th through August 3rd.  
Passports are currently available for $12 until June 15th.  After that they will be $14.  So make sure you stop by this week!

Under the Sea Card Class with Anne Sign Up by 5 PM on Tuesday to reserve your place in class! Die Cutting and Embossing Demo

with Robin

Are you frustrated with die cutting?  Ready to sell your machine or use it as a garden decoration?  STOP!!!  Help is on the way.  With a few tips and tricks you will be a die cutting wizard in no time.  Robin will demonstrate how to cut those pesky intricate dies, how to bring out the embossing features and how to glue them to your project.  Having problems with solid metal die/stamp sets?  You know, the dies that match a stamp so you don't need to fussy cut; there is a trick to using those dies.

All dies, die cutting accessories and stamp/die combinations will be 15% OFF on Saturday, February 22.

This is a FREE on going demonstration, stop in anytime between 10AM and 1PM.
