Katie Shows us How to Dye Ribbon

We are putting spotlight on another one of our Stamp Fever family of stampers. Katie Koenig has a delightful blog "Katie's Quarks". She has been entering her beautiful cards in lots of challenges and has created some really fun blog posts.

For THIS post Katie used some crepe ribbon and Ranger's Tim Holtz Alcohol inks to create the special ribbon accents on these wonderful card designs.

The lovely vintage look of the background is the perfect way to make those colorfully dyed ribbons pop!
You can see more of Katie's work on her blog and on her Flickr Photostream.

These cards are also on display at Stamp Fever. So make sure to stop by and see these stunning designs in person. We also have a good supply of Alcohol inks so you can try dying your own custom ribbon.

Thank you Katie for sharing your creative genius with us!

Spotlight on Kim Griffith

Today we are sharing a charming barnyard themed card by Kim Griffith. She used the new Lawn Fawn set called "Critters on the Farm".

Kim used chalks to add color to the background and did a lot of fussy cutting. This card also has really fun features; the cow has black glittery spots and the sheep feels soft and fluffy with white flocking.....and there's another fun little addition behind the barn doors....

.....Kim put the little chick in the barn!

We are so happy that Kim shared this adorable creation with us and we hope it inspires you!

Here's Kim at one of our classes.

Thank You Kim!

If you would like your work featured on the Stamp Fever Blog, please bring your samples to the store. Include a list of the stamps and supplies you used along with your email address. We would love to take a photo of you at one of our classes too, so sign up today!
