This Week at Stamp Fever July 18-23

Hi Everyone! The Stamp Fever Design Team is working {feverishly} to get the store ready for Shop Hop.
We should have your official Shop Hop necklace and bottle cap pendants for you to pick up this week. We'll send out an announcement when we've got them done to perfection!

The Shop Hop fun starts July 29th and continues through August 14th. Are you planning to hit all 39 stores? Let us know and share your Shop Hop Adventure with us! Even if you are not attempting the whole "magilla" we'd love to feature your photos and share your Shop Hop stories on a future blog post.

Stamp Fever is expanding our store hours during Shop Hop:

Monday-Thursday 10 - 6

Friday 10 - 8

Saturday 9:30 - 6

Sunday 11 - 5

Make sure you come by and see the store all decked out in our "Fun in the OC Sun" theme! The decorating commences next week!

Tiffany's Christmas in July Class is this Saturday July 23, at 10:00. These card designs are simply amazing!

We are sad to announce that this will be Tiffany's last class at Stamp Fever (for a while at least...fingers crossed that she'll be back sometime in the future). We are going to miss her creative genius; she has been a wonderful asset to our little store. Thank you Tiff, you will be missed!

Tim Time Tags with Kathy this Thursday and Friday 5:30-7:00
This week Kathy will be featuring techniques with alcohol inks and distress stains.

It seems she's getting in the spirit of Halloween a little early:

Here's the list of supplies to bring:

Craft sheet and a pad or magazine to stamp on.

Blending tool with FELT pad for alcohol inks....bring a few.

Alcohol inks: Black Soot, Latte..feel free to bring others to experiment with.

Distress stains: Wild Honey and Faded Jeans

Distress ink: Black Soot, Vintage Photo, Dusty Concord

Tim's hammer(and pad) if you have one 

Embossing ink pad

Clear embossing powder 

Kathy is teaching a class with the new Artistic Outpost London Underground stamps on Tuesday, July 26 at 5:30-7:30 $15.00 for two cards. 

I LOVE these new stamp sets by AO and they are perfect for Kathy's collage/vintage style. 

Supplies to bring:

Craft sheet, blending tool/sponges

Distress Inks: Vintage Photo, Faded Jeans, Worn Lipstick, Black Soot, Walnut Stain

Archival Inks: Black

Mini Mister plus Worn Lipstick re-inker (Optional)

water brush, or any small paint brush.

Foam Pop-up dots, adhesive/glue

Sandpaper for distressing, or Tim's Distressing tool (Major paper distressing)

Tim's tiny stapler (optional)
