Stop by and play!  Dawn will use the Hero Arts Bold Prints background stamp shown in this Zest Wishes card, Lawn Fawn powders and embossing ink pad.  We will practice with card stock and vellum. The demo is about heat embossing, but if you want to assemble and create a card, we will have the supplies.

NEW I-Crafter Product at Stamp Fever

We were excited to see i-Crafter at CHA.  It was their 3rd day of business! We ordered and the first shipment has arrived! If you are looking for something new and innovative, check out the Flower Bursts, Floral Garden and Cherry Blossom Bursts.  Here is a look at a few of the samples we created over the weekend. They are on display in the store.

To make the 3D cylinder, run a sheet of double sided paper through your die cut machine a couple of times, moving the dies, until you have a nice pattern of flower openings. The large flower will remain partially attached to the 6" x 12" sheet. Cut various flower shapes and centers from coordinating papers. Attach the die cut 6" x 12" sheet to a piece of acetate.  Glue the smaller flower shapes and centers to the acetate over the openings. Once dry, form the sheet into a cylinder and hold in place with double sided tape.  Gently open the petals.  The cylinder can go over a glass votive, vase, or it can stand alone.  This makes a perfect spring table decoration.  

Get everything you need at Stamp Fever, we have a supply list with the samples. We used Lawn Fawn Mermaid Tail and Sphinx patterned paper as well as scraps of lemon and lavendar solids. The Lawn Fawn paper is a perfect match to the subtle cuts of this die set.

Get your color on and join us in creating four very cute all occasion cards using Penny Black’s very huggable bears and timeless flowers! In this workshop, we will also be doing some very simple water coloring.  

What to bring: Scissors, tweezers, liquid glue, glue pen, foam tape and/or foam squares, three finger daubers. 

Inks and markers: Distress Oxides in the colors of Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin and Candied Apple; Distress Inks in these same three colors as well as Chipped Sapphire; Tombow markers #969 and #761, and Peeled Paint Distress Marker. In lieu of the above markers, any water-based markers in the colors of medium brown, pale pink and dark green will work just fine. Sherry will have one of each of these products on hand to use, but if you have any of these items, please do bring them in order to cut down on wait time.    

Watercolor brushes will be available to use.
