We will use the new Winter Kids set and learn a few new techniques including a snowy sky! Beginners are welcome!  All stamps and watercolor markers are available to share. In addition to learning  stamping and painting techniques, you will leave with 2 or 3 assembled cards. Dina Wakley Is Coming to Stamp Fever! November 15 & 16, 2019

Dina’s colorful, expressive style is anchored by her design hallmark, the creative use of white space. Her personal, organic design aesthetic strikes a balance between “artsy” and “classic”. Dina is a mixed-media artist and teacher. She loves everything about art: creating it, thinking about it, looking at it, and teaching it.  As a Ranger Signature Designer, Dina designs a line of mixed-media art supplies that includes acrylic paints, mediums, brushes, rubber stamps, stencils, and more.   Back to My Roots:  Adventures in Book-binding Friday, November 15  12:30 to 3:30 pm $75 (2 Books) When Dina started art journaling, there were very few pre-made journals to be found. So, she made her own! She made little and big books and enjoyed filling them with art. Come to this class and learn several of her favorite book constructions. You'll use Media Board, watercolor paper, kraft paper, and more. You'll fold, paste, and sew your way into book heaven. You’ll be throwing some painty mixed-media fun into the books, too.   Abstract Flower Painting Friday, November 15th 5:00 to 8:00 pm $75 Dina's recently started painting fun, abstract flowers, and wants to paint them with you! She’ll show you how to paint many different flowers and, depending on how much class time you have, you will create journal pages and paintings that show off your skills.   Joy of Scribbling and Coloring Saturday, November 16th 9:00 am to Noon $75 Who doesn’t love to scribble and color! Join Dina as she uses new Dina Wakley Media Scribble Sticks to make backgrounds and also to color images, draw, and make interesting marks. This class is chock full of scribbly, colorful techniques for all your mixed media play!   Collage Collective Saturday, November 16th 2:00 to 5:00 pm $75 Swoooooon. This class is all about Dina's new Collage Collective paper pad. She’ll show you several fun ways to use the printed papers in the pad as both backgrounds and focal points. It’s like painting with paper!

You will need to bring the following items to all classes:   •   Basic tool kit: Ranger craft sheet, scissors, water container to clean your brushes, baby wipes, paper towels, paper plate or palette paper to use as a palette (or you can just use your craft sheet). I used Copic Markers to color and I have listed the colors below, however, you may choose to use colored pencils or Tombow markers.  There is no shading required for these cards.

Next Zentangle Club is August 23rd!

The Zentangle® Club will be meeting Friday, August 23,  at 6:30 PM at Stamp Fever in Orange, CA. It’s perfect for those who are new and experienced with the art of Zentangle®. (note the date change this month only)

We’re a chatty group of cardmakers and crafters that also love Zentangle®. We keep things casual and interesting by adding watercolor, stamping, etc. to our tiles and card fronts. We work on traditional tiles, die-cut tiles, and folded cards.

Each month, we decide as a group what techniques and patterns we will focus on the next month. All suggestions are welcome!

The February Ongoing Zentangle class will focus on composition.  We'll learn the tangles we shaded during the January class and use some of those tiles as a road map for composition.  Please join the fun even if you were not at the January class.
