We will be making 5 tags using Stamp sets from Tim Holtz’s Great Outdoors, Penny Black’s Gather Around,
Laurel Burch’s Heavenly Holiday, and Hero Arts’ Color Layering Wreath.
We will also be using paper and Winter Tiny Tags Die set from Lawn Fawn.
Other paper is from PhotoPlay.

Supplies:
Basic Stamp Kit
Black Ink Pad
PPA Liquid Adhesive or equilvalent
Thin Pop-Up dots
Glue Dots
Copics, Colored Pencils, or Markers

COMING IN NOVEMBER

Recipe Book Class
with Lynette

Sunday, November 13th                 1-3pm                  Cost $28

In this class you will be constructing the small book, stamping, paper piecing, and Copic coloring. The book is made of sturdy mat board containing 6 pages for you to embellish with your favorite recipes and choc full of Lawn Fawn goodness. Lynette will include 3 of her family favorites to give your book a start. Included with each kit is a cute burlap bag sized perfect to store your book. Makes a cute gift for the holidays!
Supplies:
You will need to bring scissors, tweezers, personal cutter, runner tape adhesive, and a strong quick drying liquid glue like Scrappy or Glossy Accents. Copic pens will be supplied by Lynette.

COLORING & MERMAIDS CLASS
WITH AMANDA FARHANG

this Saturday, June 18th,

from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm

Cost:$26/person

 

In this class we will color a few mermaids 

 from Stampendous and the new Lawn Fawn set!

Our focus will be on copic skin & hair. I'm not an expert, I have no formal art training, and I hesitate to call myself a teacher... But I do love to color, and I spend A LOT of time doing what I love. I will show you how I pick my colors, and how I use shading to add dimension, depth & movement. We will do small, basic images and a more intermediate mermaid image.

I will have a few copic markers to share with the class, 

but feel free to bring your own. 

These are the copic colors I will be demonstrating with:

Skin: E04, E11, E50 & E93

Hair: E35, E37, E47 & E50

I encourage you to bring your own markers, even if you do not have the colors listed above. If you have a different brand of alcohol markers, bring those! We can apply the same techniques even if your markers are Spectrum Noir or Twin! 

Once we are done coloring our mermaids we will put together 2 quick cards.

MISTI TECHNIQUE CLASS
WITH AMANDA FARHANG

This Saturday at 10:30am

Cost is $16.00.

In this class we will go over masking, and vertical, horizontal and overlapping stamping techniques.  Wowzas!  You will be surprised how easy it is!  Together we will stretch our stamps so we can get more out of what we have in our collections already, and stretch our imaginations for what we could do with the new releases too!

You will leave with three completed tags.

Stamps used below are all from Lawn Fawn:

-  Yeti, Set, Go
-  Happy Easter
-  Monster Mash

Other stamps that would work: Lawn Fawn's Party Animals, Bahh Humbug, Oh Snap, Loveable Legends, Mom & Me, etc....
Basically any stamp with a forward facing critter.

Amanda will have an assortment of stamps and inks available to share.

Bible Journaling 101: Get creative with your faith! Get started making art in your Bible or in a journal. Instructor Sandy Allnock will share her learnings, show you many examples of styles and mediums, and you’ll watercolor your own page during class! Bring: colored pencils, or your watercolors or watercolor pencils and a brush; a Bible or journal – or both – and don’t stress over the kind of paper in your book, whatever you have will be just fine.
