We will be making three cards.  Two cards use Art Impression Stamps – Pedal Pushers and Sunny Shades. The remaining card uses an Impression Obsession stamp from Lindsay Ostrom - E19720. Shirley will be teaching you how to use Glossy Accents, a three dimensional gloss medium, to accent, brighten, dimensionalize and magnify, distinct areas on your cards.

The Teacup die cut set from Elizabeth Craft Designs was used for one of the cards. 
Stitched Flowers from Penny Black was used for the cards with the black background. You will need to use colored pencils to color this card.
The third card uses Stitched Heart Stackables die cut from Lawn Fawn, La Rue Heart die cut set from Memory Box and Swirled Love die cut from Poppy. The stamp is Whipper Snapper. Inside the card, E9872, the envelpoe with flowers and bow from Impression Obsessions is used as a gift or cash card holder.

We will be making three cards. Two of the stamp sets are from Penny Black - Gladstone and Stitched Flowers. The third cared uses the Poppy Flower stamp from Ken Oliver. 

*You may use Copics, markers, colored pencils or watercolor pencils on the card with pink flowers. 
*You will need to use colored pencils or watercolor pencils on the card with the black background. No markers or Copics.
*Watercolor pencils are used on the yellow poppy card. If you do not want to use watercolor pencils, you may color the card with markers or Copics.

I am a huge fan of Laurel Burch artwork and to say I was excited about the stamps that have come out recently from Stampendous is an understatement!

I hope you will join me in making these three colorful and fun cards!  They are sure to cheer up a special someone in your life.  You will get a free Laurel Burch copic coloring chart to use as a guideline in class.  The samples were made using copic markers, except the flowers/vase, it was made using Tombow markers.

The best coloring tools to use in class to help achieve the blended look will be either copics or Tombow markers.  They seemed to blend the best for me.  However, you may use whatever medium you choose.

The list of supplies is lengthy, however, you probably have most of the supplies. I have listed the copic colors below, you can use anything close that you have.

Congratulations to ERNA TAYLOR-STARK who submitted the winning name for our new classroom. It was a hard decision, we received many great suggestions. 

Thank you to all our customers that came  to see our new CREATIVE STUDIO Saturday and join in the festivities on our first Customer Appreciation Day!  To say it was a huge turnout would be an understatement!!

The design team is aware that many of you were disappointed we ran out of make n takes Saturday.  So to make it up to you, we want you to mark your calendars now, for Saturday, December 3, our annual Holiday Party. This year the make n takes will be free!  We will be taking reservations closer to the date of the event. This will give us a better idea of how many customers will be attending. Please be sure to make a reservation so you won't be left out!
